Partial Template

Some businesses might not always want a fixed and same type of processing for every supplier or every customer. Transactions can vary depending on the business deals, different products, and different criteria of costs for the same vendor.

Here people might not want to have a normal template setting, where all relations use the same template settings. To handle this, Smartbooqing has the feature of a “Partial Template”.

In normal templates, all follower administrations are following the same settings. This is also possible in a ‘Partial Template’.

However, in a partial template, you can keep some relations as a part of the template with the same/fixed settings and others will have variable processing settings. Those relations with variable processing settings will never get linked to the template and can have different processing rules in different follower administrations.

For instance,

  • If 10 relations are mapped to a Partial Template, their processing settings would apply to all the subsequent same relations in the follower admins.
  • No new relation will be added to this Partial template.
  • If a new KvK/IBAN is encountered in a relation already mapped to the template, then that follower admin’s relation will get unmapped from the Partial Template.
  • A pre-decided list of relations are restricted to be a part of the template and other existing or upcoming relations will be free from the template.
