Pan-European Public Procurement On-line, PEPPOL, is one of the largest and most ambitious digital transformation initiatives. Initiated by the European Commission with the so-called e-Procurement Directives, and managed by the non-profit organisation OpenPEPPOL.
PEPPOL enables trading partners to exchange standards-based electronic documents (i.e. UBL’s) over an open secure network between sending/ suppliers and receiving/ buyer’s parties across Europe through PEPPOL. PEPPOL access points connect users to the PEPPOL network and exchange electronic documents.

2. How Smartbooqing works with PEPPOL?
⦁ Administrations can simply subscribe to activate PEPPOL in Smartbooqing.
⦁ A verification process is being done by Smartbooqing back-office.
⦁ Smartbooqing creates a unique Access point (unique id) for the respective Administration over Smartbooqing/ Bluzor PEPPOL account (peppol.bluzor.com).
⦁ Administrations can share their Access Points (unique id) to the required Senders manually, whereas senders can easily search the Administration Access point over PEPPOL and sent the e-Document i.e. UBL over PEPPOL network.
⦁ This sent document is received by SmartBooqing and processed further.
